Check out the front window at Charlemagne to witness an exciting moment in the lives of two young scarecrows, and then come inside the store to see our great new fall collections of handmade jewelry and one-of-a-kind gifts. Charlemagne Fine Jewelry is one of 40 businesses that are adding fall flair to their storefront while supporting a nonprofit that has operated on Grand Avenue for 40 years. October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Women’s Advocates is celebrating its 40th Anniversary. Women’s Advocates is the first shelter in the nation for battered women and their children, and through their properties on Grand Avenue they provide services to 1,000 women and children each year.
